Tonite my husband and I saw Where The Wild Things Are. Sendak's beloved book was a fond favorite when I was a child and the movie will now become a fond favorite of my adulthood.
Spike Jonze has a truly aberrant style and ability to capture the whimsy and, sometimes, melancholiness of childhood unlike anyone else.
