I adore knitting. In fact, it hit me today that this month I will have been a knitter for one year. My throwing ability is improving every day, and here at The 60/40 I'm going to be sharing with you my (sometimes hilarious) experiences and some wonderful, inspiring knits along with book and yarn reviews.
Now I know what some of you are thinking; and I want you to stop right now. The 60/40 is going to change your mind about knitting and hopefully some of you will feel inspired to pick up the sticks and start yourselves!

Before I throw any yarn in the direction of you non-knitters, let's clear up a few things:
1. Knitting is not just for your Nana. Ravelry is the largest knitting community on the web with over 470,000 members from every corner of the earth; and yes, there are men.
2. Knitting is not for the patient. I am not a patient woman by any means, I love instant gratification. So when you hear someone say to a knitter "Wow, you must have a lot of patience to do that" and the knitter laughs, you can join in.
If you're already a knitter, I want to hear from you! If you're on Ravelry look me up, I'm LilKnitVixen.
Hang on to your knitted mittens folks, there's lots more coming. The ultra-hilarious t-shirt above can be purchased at Red Bubble. Enjoy!
