goals & inspiration.

So I want to hear from you today. I want to know what motivates you to reach your goals. Is it a person in your life? Is it an object? I want to hear all of it; even the little things. What inspires you to keep going for your dreams; even when things get rough?

I've been feeling hardcore inspired the past few weeks in a way I haven't felt before. I have some personal goals and inspirations I want to share with you all this week, but today is about you! I want to know what it is that makes you feel creative and what gives you that extra push to keep going.

Honestly? My cycle. I have this crazy 4 or 5 days of the month where I feel super motivated, super task oriented and wicked energized!

When I figure this out, I'll let you know!

I think I am inspired by knowing that if I realize my dreams I will feel completely free. I can be a complete hedonist when I'm a bit older after I'm done grinding it out the next few years. My children will reap the rewards for years to come. Yumme. I have that same burning inspiration inside too. EVERY DAY. lol. My husband helps. lol.

I go through phases of inspiration. It usually comes when I've had a good day and want to spread the positive feeling. Sometimes it comes when I am at my worst and need something different to focus on.

What inspires me? I think about myself as an old woman. I imagine myself, many years from now, sitting there looking back on life and loving all that I have experienced and who I've become because of those experiences. Whenever I'm having difficulty making a decision I think about choosing the decision that will most help me become who I want to be when I'm old.

To be honest, my husband inspires me so much! I'm trying to lose weight and get healthy b/c I know that it will really improve our relationship, and I want to make sure I'm doing everything I can to spend as much time on this Earth with my husband, friends and family. I don't want to look back when I have some preventable disease and think why didn't I change my path? I want to know that I did everything I could throughout my life.
I am pretty self motivated, to be honest. Things I want to do or change are not brought up by anyone else but me, and they are things I want to do for me and the people I love. I don't do well with other people trying to "motivate" me, since I believe I only have to answer to myself and God about things I have done in my life. If that makes sense :)

BUT b/c of my husbands confidence in me, and love for me, I have been able to try new things in every part of my life and have found so many things that I now love to do or eat etc. He gives me the confidence sometimes when I don't have it :)

I'm inspired by the "what ifs" of the future.

Honestly, whenever I feel lazy or like something isn't working out, I make myself try harder just so that I can get somewhere some day. I'm a student, so a lot of times I feel like something isn't particularly necessary for my success, but if I look at the big picture of it eventually adding up to a degree and a job... it definitely helps.

My family and friends inspire me. Envisioning them wearing some pretty handknit keeps me going. My love language is gifts and I am constantly thinking about what gift my friends and family might enjoy. Nice blog!
