Good Morning! I don't usually post on Saturday's, but I'm up bright and early today getting ready to head out for some fun. Today, you see, is National Record Store Day!
As you plan your Saturday, check out the link above to find a participating store in your area. I'm lucky enough to have six! local stores, a few will have some amazing sales. I can't wait!
Vinyl sales have been on the rise in the past few years; last year it was up 89%. So there's no better time to grab yourself a Crosley, a friend and some records and enjoy a day of pretty music!
Have a happy Saturday! Let me know what good vinyl deals you find; I'll be sure to share mine. Nothing, and I mean nothing, sounds better than a record.

SIX?! Jealousssss! Nobody within 100 miles is participating. Ugh! Damn rural south Georgia. :(
I guess I'll have to stick to ordering online and thrifting them.
This has been all over Twitter today. I'm thinking I should take a walk up to my local record shop. I did just pick up an amazing Fisher Price record player.
Those Fisher prices are *so* cute! Katie if you're ever looking for something specific, let me know and I'll look around here for you :)
I am in love with my record collection. There are so many reconrd that I have and love that just aren't available in cd form. And nothing beats that *pop* when the needle hits the record. A recommendation - if you come across any of the "Live at the Fillmore East" reconrds, snap them up tout suite!
i miss my little blue denim record player. it served me well, until i got my (junk by today's standards) stereo.
i saw "saturday night fever" on vinyl at a SalVal many years ago. to this day, i regret not buying it. not the same as a real record shop, but at the time, vinyl was really out of vogue and i could have had it for a song (no pun intended!).
Mmmm, records. I only own one - Jesus Christ Superstar! What a soundtrack!! :)
hope you had a successful day of record shopping! you are adorable.
I miss my vinyls!
