weekend freedom.

Good morning friends! What a weekend it has been, but I'm looking forward to a new week.
The 60/40 Pop-Up Summer Shop is in full swing. There are lots of goodies still up for sale; so please have a look. There's a little button on the right that will direct you to all of the lovely things I have to offer.

How was your 4th of July weekend? Did you get to see some fireworks? Josh and I had an amazing time and yesterday we picked my sister-in-law, Rebekah, up for a little visit. We went to Garden of the Gods at dark and saw about a dozen different firework displays all over the city. It was magical.

Friday night we had the best date in a long time. We headed to the local arcade and spent two hours laughing and playing games. I can already tell you it's going to be a frequent spot for us. There are probably 200 games, including old skee-ball and pinball machines from the 50's.

The best part? All of the games are the original prices to play. 5 cents for a game of pinball? Yes please!

I had a plan when we headed there. Word on the street was the arcade houses not one, but two photobooths. Ever since I was two years old my Dad and I have taken a photobooth picture every year; two goofy and two nice faces. We have frames full and it's a tradition I've been wanting to start with Josh.

What I didn't expect was for the photobooth to be so gorgeous!

Score! The first photo that you can't really see is hilarious. We were both caught off guard; I look stunned and Josh looks like a creeper. Classic.

All in all it was a fantastic weekend, which really meant a bunch. I'm so grateful for my freedoms, time with my husband, and all of you for continuing to support me and stop by everyday. This week is going to be full of adventures and tomorrow I have a new edition of This {Humble} Home for you!
Have a fantastic Monday. xo.

Ooh! I was just there about a month ago. The penny arcade at Manitou Springs is one of my favorite places EVER! I love that I have pictures that are almost identical to these ... I guess we liked the same things! :)

Fireworks at the Garden of the Gods?! That sounds incredible!! I really can't think of many places that I find more beautiful than The Garden of the Gods - absolutely mindblowingly beautiful! Shoot, We just sat in a field and got eaten by mosquitos, but it was still fum with Will ohhing, declaring certain fireworks crazy and others sweet. The things that come out of a three year old's mouth!
