When I saw this on Bluebird Vintage, I knew I had to share it with all of you. Anna's a sweet little seamstress with an even sweeter cocker spaniel pup, Jake. Sadly Jake has an agressive form of cancer and he needs a costly operation. If you're interested in helping little Jake, you can buy a pretty apron from Anna and your donation will help Jake on his road to recovery.
I know how hard it can be to lose a furfriend. My childhood cat, Kelly, passed away when I was in college; she was my best friend and confidant. I was lucky to spend 17 years with her, but still miss her every day.
Now that I have Hank, there isn't anything I wouldn't do to help him. A few years back he had surgery to unblock his urninary tract, and while we were given the option to put him to sleep, I couldn't have imagined doing it just because of money.
If you can find it in your heart to buy an apron, I'm sure Anna and Jake would really appreciate it.
I'll see you all tomorrow, there's lots of projects going on in my house today. Later in the week I'm also going to have some ways you can help out in the Gulf Coast region. It's devastating to see the place I lived in just a few short month ago have oil washing up on it's pristine shores. Thanks for listening, kittens!

Awww.
I had the exact same situation happen to me that you did... my childhood cat (of 17 years!!) passed away while I was in college too. It felt like I lost a sister!!!
I hope that little Jake will pull though! :(
He reminds me of our little Lucy! She's a cocker spaniel too and I agree with you- there's nothing I wouldn't do for her to be healthy! I hope this little guy makes it :(
